2021 housing market predictions
Through the chaos of 2020, one pocket of relief was the housing market. It should have been the last thing to move forward. Instead, lower rates and a thin supply of homes pushed buyers to act.
The forecasts heading into 2021 shared a theme: demand was not finished, and inventory was still the constraint. Price growth was expected to cool from the sharpest months, not reverse. Sellers who prepared a house properly were still in the stronger seat.
For anyone buying or selling in the Denver metro, the useful lesson was not a headline. It was timing, condition, and a clear number. A prediction is a weather report. The offer on the table is the climate you actually live in.
Anna’s counsel then is the same now: decide what the house has to do for your life, then let the market tell you what that costs — not the other way around.
